Hello I am Echo Wu

I am a multidiscipline artist currently based in Redding, California. I am specialized in abstract painting and vibrant colors. My vision is to bring art to people’s lives, art is not just a beautiful painting hang on the wall, art can transform the atmosphere and uplift people’s mood. I want to bring colors to people’s life and let them know ‘There is HOPE’. The unique background of both western and eastern culture bring uniqueness to my art expression.

Before I became a full-time artist, I worked in world famous management consulting firms, I had the privilege to travel around the world (over 16 countries), to experience different culture and talk with different people. This precious experience did open up my eyes and horizon and allow my heart to be open. This experience also taught me how to do time management, being organized which is so crucial and unique to be an artist.

Quitting my promising management consulting job and to follow my heart to become an artist requires so much courage and faith. I am grateful of every season of my life and I want to bring what I experienced in life, the touching moments, the highs and lows to my art process. Art is not an decoration, it’s an authentic dialogue with your heart.
